Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data ARJEEV collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. ARJEEV is operated by Elements DS LLP, which is responsible for your data.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, what you ordered, and any note you add.
- When you create an account: your name and email address, or your mobile number if you sign in with a code. Passwords are stored only as salted, iterated hashes, never in readable form. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google, never your Google password. When you add or change an email address, we send a one-time code to it to confirm it is yours.
- Your address book: only the addresses you choose to save, in your account, or by ticking “Save this address” at checkout. You can edit or delete them at any time.
- Help tickets: what you tell us when you raise one, the order, the pieces, the reason and your note, and our replies, so you can follow it in your account.
- When you pay: the payment reference, amount, status and the kind of method used (for example, “UPI”). We never receive or store card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs or banking passwords.
- The body-type tool: your measurements are used once, to work out the shape, and are not stored on our servers. Only the result, and the measurements too, if you choose to keep them, is saved in your own browser, and nowhere else.
- Technical data: your IP address, used briefly to protect the site against abuse; and a few essential cookies (below).
Why we use it
- To take, deliver and support your orders, including returns, exchanges and refunds.
- To run your account and sign you in.
- To keep the site and your payments secure, and to prevent fraud.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not send marketing messages, and we do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Who we share it with
Only with the service providers who help us run the store, and only what each one needs:
- Razorpay: to process payments and refunds.
- Our courier partners: your name, delivery address and phone number, to deliver your parcel.
- Google (Firebase): your mobile number, to send your sign-in code by SMS.
- Cloudflare: which hosts and protects the site, and gives us cookieless, aggregate visitor statistics.
- Our email provider: your email address and order details, to send order emails.
- WhatsApp (Meta): only if you choose to message us there, for example about a ticket. WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy apply to those messages.
- Authorities: where the law requires us to.
Some of these providers may process data outside India, under safeguards of their own.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the store needs to work: one to keep you signed in, one to remember your bag, one that protects forms against cross-site attacks, and one that lets you reopen the receipt for an order placed from your browser. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account, and the addresses you saved in it, until you ask us to delete them. Order and invoice records, and the help tickets that belong to them, are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, up to eight years. Security records, and the codes used to confirm an email address, are kept only briefly.
How we protect it
The site runs entirely over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, sessions live in cookies that scripts on the page cannot read, and access to order data is limited to the people who fulfil orders. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach ever affected your data, we would tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to delete it (except records the law requires us to keep), and withdraw any consent you have given. You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to Admin@elementsds.co.in and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
The site is not meant for children under 18. A parent or guardian may shop for them.
